A legacy of quality
for 110 years already
From a small butcher shop in the Carmel Market to one of the leading food companies in Israel. The story of Baladi is a story of family, excellence, and a commitment to quality.

Our Story
From the Carmel Market to all of Israel
The story of Baladi begins in 1916, when Miriam and Shlomo Dahabani opened a butcher shop in the Carmel Market in Tel Aviv. What started as a small family business has turned over the years into one of the leading food companies in Israel.
Today, Baladi combines over 110 years of tradition with advanced innovation - importing, producing, and marketing a wide range of meat, fish, vegetables, and fruits from 38 countries around the world. With an advanced 15,000 sqm logistics center and a dedicated team of about 300 employees, we bring the best to the Israeli table.
